The F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation stealth air superiority fighter developed by Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Air Force. Introduced in 2005, it combines stealth, speed, agility, and advanced avionics to dominate both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines with thrust vectoring, it can cruise at supersonic speeds without afterburners (supercruise).
