The Dodge WC-6 Command Car was a rugged four-wheel-drive vehicle used by the U.S. Army during the early years of World War II. Built on the Dodge ½-ton WC chassis, it featured an open-top body, folding windshield, and ample seating for officers and staff. Designed for battlefield mobility and communication, it combined durability with a relatively comfortable ride for command personnel. Its 6-cylinder engine, sturdy suspension, and reliable drivetrain made it capable on rough terrain. Although later replaced by more practical vehicles like the Jeep, the WC-6 remains an iconic early-war command and reconnaissance platform.
