The Saab Draken J-35 is a Swedish supersonic fighter jet developed during the Cold War, known for its distinctive double-delta wing design. First flown in 1955, it was the first fully supersonic aircraft deployed in Western Europe and served as Sweden’s primary interceptor into the 1990s. The Draken combined high-speed performance with excellent maneuverability, capable of reaching Mach 2.
